We have been awarded the Sustainable Restaurants Association’s (SRA) highest rating of 3-stars.

We have been awarded the top award of Three Stars from the Sustainable Restaurants Association (SRA) for our sustainable practices such as reducing single use plastic waste and their on-going work with the wider community.

As part of Restaurant Associates Climate Net Zero commitment by 2030, the team have been putting a lot of work in towards our long-term and ongoing goals. We are reducing our carbon footprint but also our environmental impact. Some of the successful initiatives include CauliBox - a reusable food container scheme, collaborating with WasteKnot to rescue surplus vegetables from industry waste streams, and celebrating local & seasonal produce, by sourcing 90% of our fresh produce locally in the UK.

Waging war on waste!

A scary amount of perfectly decent fruit and vegetables get wasted every year.

Waste Knot harvests all the fruit and veg that do not meet supermarket trading standards, due to them being overgrown or in abundance and repurposes them to a variety of businesses that are more than happy to purchase such products. This avoid the food from ending up in landfills.

Around 7% of what’s grown in the UK never makes it to a plate - that’s more than £1 billion worth of goodness going to waste.

Here at Oliver’s we are doing our bit to help this causes and with our new partnership with Waste Knot we will help wage this war against waste. Keep an eye out for our waste knot recipes in and around the restaurant.

We are working on our monthly commitment to supporting a regular weight of rescued fruit and vegetable. We will share this with you as soon as we can.
